DTD Poker are organising an event in St Kitts in November 2012 called the CPP which is set to replace the old CPC events.

The hotel rooms are booked, so now all you have to do is win one of the £6k packages to get you there and into the main event. I’m personally a massive fan of this venue and the whole atmosphere that surrounds this event, and im sure there will be loads of players that will want to win a package for a week of sun and poker.

The CPC really was a great event, i rememeber it as one of the best experiences in my poker career. DTD have renamed the event the Caribbean Poker Party (CPP) rather than the Caribbean Poker Classic (CPC) because Crypologic wouldn’t give them the CPC web site domain or even allow us to use the name, but it would be great to see all the old faces there. St Kitts is a beautiful island, the people are friendly and there are also plenty of places to explore should you want to get away from the poker tables. Here is just one of the lovely beaches there.

DTD are going to start online satelites early April. They hope to qualify 200 players before the event, online, and the in DTD club. They also hope to get 100+ direct buy-ins and create a £1m+ prizepool which is my personal target – There will be lots of news about the CPP over coming weeks, Kev O’Connell has helped plan the event, Rakeaddicts will be advertising it and bringing you details of all the satellites and since contracts have been signed with the Marriot Hotel in St Kitts, its on!!!
